How to open and extract 7-Zip archive?

  • Download and install Altap Salamander 4.0 File Manager.
  • Focus 7-Zip archive in Altap Salamander panel.
  • Double-click it or press Enter to open archive.
  • Select desired files and directories using the Insert key or using mouse.
  • View files using F3 key or Extract file to another panel using F5 key.

How to pack 7z files using 7-Zip?

  • Select desired files and directories using the Insert key or using mouse.
  • From the Files menu choose the Pack (Alt+F5) command.
  • In the Pack dialog box choose the 7-Zip plugin.
